WVU-Morgantown’s retention and graduation rates are calculated following the US Department of Education method. The calculations are based on the first-time full-time degree-seeking cohort of students who began their undergraduate academic careers at WVU-Morgantown in a given year. The cohort does not include new students with transfer credits. Retention and graduation rates are calculated based only on enrollment at and graduation from the WVU-Morgantown campus with the exception of the last table which includes students at all locations because WVU only operates one financial aid program across its locations.
